The exact date of the creation of Ravna Gora is not known: it is believed that its beginning was before the construction of the Karolinska road, first in Vrh (part of Ravna Gora), and then in the place where it is still located today. In the beginning, the place had a few houses through which an ordinary road led. The seat of today's Municipality is at 177 Ivana Goran Kovačića Street.
