PODRVANJ, we were offered a house with a garden not far from the center of Čavlo. It consists of a hallway, kitchen, living room, pantry and tavern on the ground floor, from which a staircase leads to the first floor with a hallway and two bedrooms. The house has a garden with a landscaped garden, an outbuilding and a small room for storing tools. The heating is on wood. Adaptation required. Only eight kilometers from Rijeka, in its hinterland, is the town of Čavla. The view is admirable when you climb the historic Lujzijana road to the Buzdohanj plateau, from which you can see the Grobnik Alps. Sometimes they are grey, other times green or blue, but the people of Rijeka and their guests may like them best when they are snow-white. Nearby is the Grobnik Automotodrom, a meeting point for motorcyclists from all over Europe, as well as a small airport - therefore Grobnik is a "meeting place" for all lovers of fast driving, competitive spirit and adrenaline.
