In the first half of the 19th century, they started building their summer houses surrounded by lush flower gardens and exotic plants, which eventually became their permanent residence. These villas are located right next to the coast, that is, along the southern road. All the villas in Pećine can boast of a lush garden, but these are by no means the only green areas in this part of the city.
