The municipality of Brod Moravice was founded in 1893, and in 1993 it became a municipality in the free and independent Republic of Croatia. There are no major commercial facilities in the Brod Moravice Municipality, but there is a smaller plant called "Pilana" in Donja Dobra. There are also a large number of craftsmen, mainly carpenters, but also growers of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and mushrooms.
